Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (APLAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to law courses offered at Andhra Pradesh Universities and their affiliated colleges.
The mode of examination for AP LAWCET is Computer-based test mode. The AP LAWCET question paper is based on 120 objective-type questions from three sections - GK and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the study of Law.
AP LAWCET minimum qualification for the candidates applying for 3-year LLB should have passed a Graduate Degree (in the pattern of 10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized University.There is no upper age limit for the 3-year LLB program offered through AP LAWCET.
Admission to most of the law colleges in Andhra Pradesh are conducted through AP LAWCET exams. To take admission to the law colleges in the state you should appear in the entrance exam and apply for admission to the participating colleges.
The questions asked in AP LAWCET exams are multiple-choice questions.There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
The question paper of AP LAWCET comprises of three sections- Section A, Section B, and Section C. Section A and Section B consists of 30 questions, and Question C consists of 60 questions.
