Delhi University Joint Admission Test, commonly known as DU JAT, is a national level exam conducted by the Delhi University for admission into specific Undergraduate Courses. The list includes BMS, BBA(FIA), BBE and with the upcoming year will include the prized B.Com and B.Com (Hons.).
DU JAT exam will be conducted in the Computer-based Test (CBT) mode at more than 100 centres across 20+ cities in India in the first week of July.
DU JAT syllabus is spread over four sections— Quantitative Ability, Reasoning and Analytical Ability, General English, Business and General Awareness.
As per the DU JAT eligibility criteria, the general category candidates must have scored at least 60% marks in the senior secondary examination.The cutoff list is made after considering class 12th and DU JAT score. Their weightage has been decided as 65% for DU JAT score and 35% for class 12th score of the candidate.
One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer while four marks will be awarded for every correct answer.After clearing the DUJAT entrance exam the candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
There are a total of 16 colleges that accept the DU JAT scores for admission. Admission to these colleges is based on the merit list prepared after evaluation of scores in the entrance exam and best of four percentage from Class 12th.
