BTC

Basic Training Certificate is a two-year certificate level education course which is recognized by NCTE, Government of India. BTC is a mandatory training certificate required for those planning to teach in govt. primary schools. The main aim of the programme is training teachers for imparting primary education.

The Basic Teacher Certificate subjects include science, mathematics, social studies, Hindi, computer education, principles of study learning, social production functions, health education, new measures of early education, and English.

This course assists applicants in developing their creativity skills. This course broadens the applicants' knowledge in a variety of subjects while also improving their attitudes and behaviors, allowing them to do their teaching jobs effectively.

BTC is mandatory training for those planning to teach in government primary schools. The main purpose of the program is to train teachers to deliver primary education.

Basic Training Certificate (BTC) Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification Required: Graduation in any field

Minimum Marks Required (Aggregate):50% to 60%, may vary from college to college.

Basic Training Certificate (BTC) Career Options and Job Prospects

After pursuing the Basic Training Course candidates are eligible to become a teacher in primary schools. Some candidates can also work as private tutors or start their own coaching centre.

Job roles offered to BTC holders are teacher, content writer, professional trainer, executive trainee recruiter, training coordinator, front office coordinator, and others.
