Jamia Millia Islamia is a central university which is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).Jamia Millia Islamia is also known for its International Exchange Program in collaboration with several foreign universities.

The eligibility criteria for each course is different. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the Jamia Millia Islamia Entrance Exam.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 55% marks in aggregate. JMI also offers B.Sc and B.Sc. (Hons) in a variety of disciplines.

Qualifying marks refers to the minimum marks that a candidate must score in the exam. The qualifying marks for JMI Entrance Exam are 30% marks for descriptive questions and 15% marks for objective-type questions.

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in the objective type/ MCQs in all the program.
