CLAT or Common Law Admission Test is a national-level entrance exam for admission to UG and PG law courses offered by the participating NLUs. CLAT exam scores are also accepted by 61 affiliates, which are private universities, and have signed MOU with the consortium. Meanwhile, many popular PSUs use CLAT PG scores for recruitment purposes.

As per the CLAT Exam Pattern, the UG question paper is divided into 5 sections. The sections include English Language, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.
As per the CLAT Exam Pattern, the PG question paper is divided into 2 sections. The sections include Constitutional Law and Other areas of law.
The CLAT Question Paper for UG exam will consist of 150 questions.The CLAT Question Paper for PG Exam will consist of 120 questions.CLAT exam is to be once in a year only
The CLAT is an offline/pen and paper-based test. The medium of question paper in the examination is in English only. The CLAT exam is conducted for a duration of 2 hours (120 minutes). There is no separate time allotted for each section. Students can divide their time between the various sections judiciously.
A mark will be awarded for each correct answer while 0.25 will be deducted for every wrong answer.The main skills that will be tested in CLAT are aptitude and reasoning skills.Prior Knowledge of Legal Education is not necessary.
