The Master of Journalism and Mass Communication or MJMC program is one of the most commonly opted PG degree in journalism and mass communication. The 2-year Master’s program has been designed to provide an in-depth and critical understanding of the Indian Media and Mass Communication channels.
Merit-Based Admissions to MJMC
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the above-mentioned parameters and others, as outlined by the college and ask them to appear for a Personal Interview and/or Group Discussion.
Based on the performance of the aspirants in the Personal Interview and/or group discussion sessions along with the past academic and professional achievements of the candidates, colleges will offer admissions to prospective students.
Entrance-Based Admissions to MJMC
Candidates would be required to appear for a University/Institute-Level entrance exam, conducted by the college of their choice.
Once you have cleared the exam, you will be asked to appear for a Personal Interview sessional and/or a Group Discussion session as well.
Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC) Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants should have a valid Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or institute. BJMC graduates would be given more preference.
Candidates must ensure that they have secured a minimum aggregate score of 50% or more in the qualifying exam.
